Beyond the Scoreboard: NBSC Celebrates Unity and Excellence in Sports
The championship games for the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Month Celebration ball games have never been more action-packed and nerve-racking than before. As the celebration continues, Northern Bukidnon State College continued the athletic spirits today, September 26, 2025, at the NBSC Covered Courts.
The event opened with the Women’s Volleyball Finals, where the Yellow Phoenixes and the Green Hornets faced off in an intense and well-balanced match. Both sides displayed sharp coordination and perseverance, but it was the Green Hornets that ultimately prevailed
The action continued with the Men’s Volleyball Championship, where the Blue Eagles took on the Red Lions in a hard-fought battle. Demonstrating consistency and control, the Blue Eagles outperformed their opponents to earn a decisive victory.
Concluding the day were the highly anticipated Basketball matches for 3rd place between Red Lions and Yellow Phoenix and the championship match between the Blue Eagles and the Green Hornets. The fighting-for-third match filled the court with chills and loud cheers as the game extended into overtime, which favored the Red Lions Team.
During the championship game with the Blue Eagles and Green Hornets, with both teams eager to end CSC Month on a high note, the game was marked by aggressive defense and clutch plays. In the end, the Green Hornets dominated with a landslide win.
